How To Use Free Advertising Methods To Explode Your Internet Business

Want to know the secret to making a solid six figure income on the net? If you have already tuned out, its understandable. The amount of hype that is spewed out on a daily basis is tremendous! But, there is a select group who make a very nice solid income working from home and many of them do it completely online!
What do they do? Search engine submissions? Reciprocal links? Classified ads? Maybe some have done rather well from a combination of online advertising methods but others have made their money from using several tried and true techniques that focus on using Free Advertising to make tremendous profits.
What is Free advertising? Glad you asked. It is not, contrary to popular belief, using free for all link sites, free classified sites and the like. Mind you I am not against using those tools. These tools are not good ways to generate profits but, if used correctly they can be powerful lead generators.
"Free advertising is any mention,listing or blurb about your product or service in a magazine, newspaper, newsletter, book, manual, directory - or on tv or radio."

Jeff taught me a lot about using free advertising to generate thousands of dollars in profits offline. And his methods can make ANYONE tons of money. What I have done is come up with a methodology that takes his free advertising techniques and tweaks them to fit the internet. Lets take a look at some of these fantastic income builders.
One of the first things you should do is focus on one of your products or services. If you don't have your own products or services, these same techniques can work for an affiliate program as well.
Now we need to find media that focuses on your niche market. Lets say, for example, that you sell an automotive cleaning agent. What can you do to get some free advertising for your product? Here's an action plan for you:
Find a minimum of ten internet ezines that focus on automotive issues. Do a search on www.google.com for automotive ezines. Find at least ten and write a personal (not canned) email to each publisher explaining your product and what it can do for cars. Do not spend hours writing a twenty page manifesto. Instead write a brief one page description detailing the benefits of your product. Make sure you mention how much your product will benefit their readers. Finally, offer a free sample of your product to the publisher in exchange for an unbiased editorial or review of your product.
Some publishers will take you up on your offer while others will never get back to you. Don't mind that, just focus on the ones that accept your offer and get your product to them as fast as you can.
Why will this work well for you? Because if a targeted ezine writes about your product, and gave it rave reviews, then the subscribers of that ezine will believe it. You see the ezine has built in credibility - because it is seen as "the media". Their responsibility is to report on items of interest to their readers. This gets you something you could not have gotten if you paid for advertising in the ezine: TRUST! Since the ezine wrote about your product, you will get a much higher response than if you had paid for an ad.
Why would an ezine want to give you free advertising? Because you are going to help them make money! How, you ask. By giving their readers what they want. Their audience desperately wants information on their interest. They are giving it to them. This increases their credibility, makes their audience more responsive to advertisers and increases their advertising revenues.
It is a win/win situation for everyone involved. If you like, you have my permission to paraphrase the above paragraph as an added incentive to encourage publishers to work with you by reviewing your product.
This technique can also be used with people who own and operate websites that cater to your target market. Many webmasters are looking for content for their sites. Try to get them to do an unbiased review of your product or service on their website and watch the traffic and sales pour in!
Please note that this technique works best when you have a genuine quality product or service that can stand on it's own merits when it gets reviewed. You definitely do not want a bad review. Good reviews will equal free advertising and this will equal huge profits for you!
