This tip will save you a lot of money over time and may even help you earn some extra cash in the process. This is so simple; I am surprised at how few people know about it.

This tip might not win me many points with companies offering affiliate programs, but I strongly feel it's a win-win strategy.

Almost everything you buy on-line offers some sort of affiliate program. Most affiliate programs will allow you to join as an affiliate then purchase the product from yourself. This strategy makes it possible to buy almost anything at wholesale prices. You just purchase it from yourself.

Why This A Win-Win Strategy

I first learned of this concept three years ago when I joined the Third Sphere Hosting web hosting company as a re-seller. Later I became a customer through my own affiliate website. I saved 25%. That savings amounted to about $35 dollars residual savings a month for over three years, about $1,260 in savings.

Since that time, whenever I shop for products or services I consider the possibility of buying wholesale from myself as an affiliate. I first become an affiliate then visit my supplied website or use my affiliate link to make the purchase. I want to support the Internet Community as much as possible, so I put my money where my mouth is and buy as much as I can on-line.

It is also so much easier to sell a product you already own yourself. So why not make a practice of buying the products you sell, and selling the products you buy. The more you know about a product or service the easier it is to answer questions or overcome objections.

From the point of view of the company offering the product or service, they gain a qualified better-educated re-seller. The simple fact that you purchased the product or service yourself is a powerful selling point.

Lets Take It One More Step.

Lets say you want to do not want to pay anything at all. This too is possible; all you have to do is calculate your break-even point. In fact, I evaluate many of my purchases and affiliate programs based on how fast and easy I can earn the product free. In fact, sometimes I consider the cost of a newspaper or e-zine ad in the calculations.

Buying products you sell brings you additional advantages. If you find it too difficult to break even you may not waste too much time and effort into selling it. Even is you decide not to sell it the advantage is still there; you purchased it wholesale, which is still a good deal.

The Worst-Case Scenario

If you buy it with a credit card, then if the product of service turns out to be a dud, or it's not what you expected, you can usually get your money back. I don't mention this as a strategy to get something for nothing but as a method to keep from being ripped off by companies selling junk.

Here Is A Real-World Example

Right now, I am selling the most profitable product I have ever sold on line, and it's selling like crazy. I purchased a package of 18 Internet Marketing e-books for a one-time payment of $49. With that purchase, I received FUL re-selling rights. One of the e-books alone sold for $69.95 so the wholesale price about 15% of what I would have paid had I purchased them separately.

The break-even point was one sale so I knew I could eventually make at least one sale without really trying. I placed an ad in my local newspaper and sold 11 the first month. I earned about 1000% profit in a month including the cost of the ad. I don't want to mislead you; there was a little bit of work involved.

This form of selling is ahead of its time and taking the web by storm. The people I purchased the e-books from also set up an affiliate program. Through their program anyone buying the package from me can get a free replicated website & affiliate link included in the $50.

Have Your Cake And Eat It Too

When you purchase this $50 e-book package you can sell them on your own through local newspaper and and from your website getting 100% of the money. IN ADDITION, you can join the affiliate program to get a FREE completed website with e-commerce capabilities, and still earn half through sales from their website.

Buying wholesale and selling retail is a great way to purchase almost anything on-line. Quickly earning your money back is an added bonus.

My e-book website is somewhat out of date already as they have recently added several new e-books to the package, which only made it a much better buy. You really can't loose through this kind of marketing. Sell the entire package or repackage them to sell them individually for more.
