How you communicate to the search engines through the use of keywords in your web pages and meta code determines how people find us through the same search engines. Give as much thought to the choice of keywords and placement on your pages as you did in your ad or offer. If they don't enter a word in the search engine that also appears ( mabe more than once) on your pages there is zero chance you will come up at all. by optimizing your keyword list to include as many popular words as possible you can sometimes double or even tripple your on-line traffic traffic, even better you can double or tripple your profit. With On-line marketing, they must want to find you or your information first before they buy anything. I believe one of the best ways to profit on the Internet is to offer useful information to attract traffic. Everyone has there own area of expertise and the whole world is looking for what you already know. If you can develop your information People are not attracted to a sales pitch. If your area of expertise is informative & interesting people will visit. When the time comes to buy something they remember where they got their needs filled and return to buy. People to find us on the Internet using keywords. The following sources will tell you what keywords people are typing in to find sites using the search engines. You want to optimise your site to include single words & combinations of words that might acutally get entered to find your site. I have found the following resources to be very usefull in researching which words to optimise.
Another method is the reverse and to type in your most important keywords. When the search results come up study the source code of the top sites to determine what they did that worked with that search engine and your favorite keywords. You learn over time the how to write your title and first paragraph on your site to include your keywords After that the next step is to custom develop several lead pages using different approaches of using different combinations of keywords, Load these pages on your server and the biggest search engines will index them as separate pages. This method should at least double your traffic if not more because it tunes each lead page to a specific set of important search words. It goes on & on. To develop a business on the internet that pays like a full time job doesn't happen on it's own.
